I am a freshman at TCC with a Major in Biology. I am in my second semester and have a 4.0 GPA. I excel in sciences, math, and English.
Experience
I have assisted with home schooling (including my two younger siblings: middle and high school). I received a 99% on my English placement test when entering college. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy helping others learn and breaking things down in a way that they understand. I try to make learning interesting for them. I received "A"s in College Comp 1, College Algebra, and Biology 1 last semester and am working to do the same in my classes this year. I am currently enrolled in College Comp 2, Biology 2, World Civilizations 1, and Pre-Calculus 1. I also had a 3.7 GPA coming out of high school. And I do have extensive experience working with special needs children and "slow" learners. I can also adapt my tutoring for any of the 3 learning types (kinetic, visual, or auditory).

Hobbies
I love being active. I dance, walk, skate, and even try to skateboard on occasion. I love nature and frequent the zoo and local museums when time and money permit. I read a lot and also enjoy crafts and cooking. I love animals of all kinds and have certification in veterinary assistance. I have a soon to be 20 month old little boy, David, and have my second son, Odin, who is due at then end of January (so anytime)! Oh, and I love music. I listen to a little bit of everything, though I do lean more towards rock.
