I attended the University of Hawaii where I completed a Bachelor of Environmental Design (BEnvD) and Certificate of French. I have many years of experience working with students from elementary school through college as an after-school program counselor, teacher, and tutor. I have not only tutored a diverse array of subjects, but I have also spent considerable time learning how best to teach children with attention issues to understand the course work and retain what they have learned. I look forward to meeting with you or your student to study Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Algebra 3/4, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, English Grammar and Syntax, College Essays, Math, or English. I am also available to assist with basic homework support for your courses. I'm a creative and patient tutor who has found many different ways to motivate students and instill in them a love of learning. When I have free time, I like to spend it outside in my garden or going camping with my husband and our dog. I enjoy staying fit by working out at the gym.
